WUWNet'14 Session Chair

I will serve as a session chair of the 9th ACM International Conference on Underwater Networks & Systems (WUWNet'14) in Rome, Italy. The name of the session is "Technical Session I - Underwater Sensor Networks". There will be five technical papers presented during this session in the morning of Nov 12, 2014.
Invited talk at VCU

I am invited to give a talk regarding my research on underwater wireless networks at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) on Oct 10, 2014. HERE is a link to the poster distributed to the Computer Science Department of VCU. I am looking forward to this trip and hope to meet Dr. Wei Cheng, one of the collaborators in my NSF CYBERSEES project. We will discuss our next step in the second year of this project.
Presentation at MTS/IEEE OCEANS'14

On Sep 18, I gave a talk during the MTS/IEEE OCEANS'14 conference. The talk is regarding the networking protocol stacks designed for underwater wireless networks. We compared the existing protocol stack designs and studied their differences. Below is a picture of me (left) and Ms. Yuzhi Zhang (right), a visiting student of our group, at the conference.

I am invited and will serve as a session chair of IEEE GLOBECOM 2014. The name of the session is "Wireless Computing and Scheduling". There will be six technical papers presented during this session in the afternoon of Dec 11, 2014.

I attended OCEANS'14 from Sep 15 to Sep 19. On Thursday, I presented a student's paper in the session of "Underwater communication networks". There were several great researchers in the area of underwater wireless networks presenting their work in the same session.
