Your First Assignments

There are a number of important tasks that you must get done ASAP. Please consider the following as due immediately:

1. Register on piazza. Here, you will find all notifications regarding the class, as well as questions and answers regarding assignments and such. Important: all class-related questions should be posted on piazza. There’s no need to email your instructors directly. Please also take a moment to read these guidelines and the faq.
2. Get the virtual machine running.
3. Start on the following tutorials:
   • building programs on the command line
   • introduction to git

None of these are particularly difficult, but they will take a little bit of time. Please do not hesitate.
