Trends in Functional Programming Conference:
The Center for Algorithms and Interactive Scientific Software (CAISS)
and the Department of Computer Science, in conjunction with Seton
Hall University, are pleased to announce the upcoming
Trends in Functional Programming Conference (TFP 2007).
The conference is the latest in a series which began in 1988 as the
Scottish Functional Programming Workshops; this is the first time it
has been held in the US. The keynote speaker is John McCarthy, professor
of computer science at Stanford. McCarthy is the inventor of the
programming language lisp, and is universally regarded as a pioneer in
our field.
